Having decided to retire from stilting on my 60th birthday, I then sold my stilts.
Now 9 weeks later I am having withdrawl symptoms - I am missing the unpredictable existance of being high and vunerable in unusual and difficult situations, and the awesum feeling when I have successfully conquered one of my challenges.
So what do I do?
Ignore the symptoms and hope I will get over that pirce of my life that is missing?
or
Beg, borrow or buy some more stilts and carry on where I left off.
Suggestions please.................

Beg, borrow, or buy some more stilts and carry on where you left off! No question! Birthdays are milestones to celebrate what we have done and can do- not occasions to leave our passions behind because of societal expectations of "acting our age".
Plus, it's common knowledge that the body works on a "use it or lose" it principle, so I'm guessing stilting is way better for you at 60 than not stilting!
I imagine the newspaper headlines...
"80 year old defies age and gravity"

I'm not on tribe much anymore...
But glad to hear you're going to get back in your groove. In 20 years you better post that article. ;) -

So where are you when not on Tribe. Is there a stilting forum that I have not yet found?

so far this is the only spot I check. I am sure facebook has to have something. The problem is that Tribe really screwed a good thing up and lost a ton of it's user base. Check facebook and myspace!

I have several stilting contacts on My Space, but very little contact.
On Facebook, I have joined the following groups:-
Places I've been to on stilts
Stiltwalkers, Jugglers, Fire Perfprmers
Edmonton Stiltwalkers
Alberta Stiltwalkers
Stiltwalkers go where they like
Stilters of the world unite
Stilters
Stilting Dangers
Trouble is each site has very little input
